The Phone Number Trick
1. Grab a
calculator. (you won't be able to do this one in
your head)
2. Key in the first three digits of your phone number
(NOT the area code -- e.g. 976)
3. Multiply by 80
4. Add 1
5. Multiply by 250
6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number (e.g. 5349)
7. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again
8. Subtract 250
9. Divide number by 2.
How do they do that? Try it again with a different
number!

There are four
people at a party.
In introducing themselves, they must shake hands with each other just
once.
What is the total number of handshakes that will occur?
The answer is always 6 handshakes. |

Math Magic - Pick A Number . . .
1. Ask someone to choose a number between 1 and 20, but
not to say it out loud.
2. Next ask them to double the number in their head.
3. And then to add 6
4. Next ask them to divide by 2.
5. Ask them to subtract their original number from the total.
6. Pause to build suspense and announce the number is 3!
You never need to know their original number, the answer
will always be 3.
