This hydrogen powered showcar features a snug jet fighter-like cockpit that can accommodate one pilot in a snug form-fitting swivel-seat and one passenger that sits directly behind the pilot. It is controlled through the use of two joysticks (there is no steering wheel). And, just like a jet fighter (or video game) all operations for driving and power are "by-wire" (computer assisted).
The mid-placed engine runs on liquid hydrogen.

The Hy-wire is powered by a hydrogen supplied fuel cell that can produce 94 kilowatts of continuous power and 129 kilowatts of burst energy.
This concept machine has a top speed of 100 mph (160 km/h).

On a closer look, you will notice that there are no exterior mirrors, and inside, the driving controls are not attached in a fixed position! The driver's interface is completely computer aided and exterior activity is fed into the drivers LCD display panels from hidden cameras on the cars exterior.

The most intriguing capability of the control and driver interface technology, is that the driver can literally sit in any seat in the vehicle while driving!
